Since the reopening of La Preséf’s kitchen, many new projects have taken shape.
Large and small details that reflect a clear vision: creating an experience that feels increasingly authentic, coherent, and deeply connected to the local territory.
Among these projects is the new line of uniforms created together with Sartoria Rosalba of Talamona, a collaboration born from the desire to enhance the dining experience through garments able to express elegance, identity, and craftsmanship.
Sartoria Rosalba is a Valtellina-based tailoring atelier active for more than forty years. Founded in 1982, it is now led by Rosalba together with her daughter Chiara, preserving a tailoring tradition built on care, artisanal skill, and attention to detail.
An atelier that combines sartorial heritage with a contemporary sensibility, creating bespoke garments designed to stand the test of time.
For La Preséf, we envisioned uniforms that would naturally blend with the atmosphere of the restaurant: elegant yet functional, refined without feeling formal, capable of supporting the daily work of the dining room staff while maintaining a recognizable and coherent style.
The result is a collection that perfectly complements the warm wood interiors, soft lighting, and welcoming atmosphere of La Preséf.
The outfit — composed of waistcoat and trousers — is made from 100% long-staple pure cotton, a natural fabric chosen for its softness, breathability, and ability to maintain structure and elegance throughout the day.
The construction follows the principles of traditional tailoring: cuts designed to move naturally with the body, carefully finished seams, mother-of-pearl buttons, and internal linings created to ensure comfort during service.
Alongside the suit, the shirt introduces a more distinctive and refined element: a delicate all-over floral micro-pattern in shades of white and burnt orange on a grey background, inspired by a subtle vintage aesthetic.
Paired with the brown waistcoat, it creates a balance between country-chic style and contemporary tailoring, while preserving the natural elegance we wanted to express in the dining experience itself.
Every detail emerged through a direct collaboration with Rosalba and Chiara: from the selection of fabrics to the definition of shapes, with the shared goal of creating garments that are not only beautiful, but also practical for everyday use.
For us, this project represents much more than a uniform.
It is the story of a meeting between local realities that share the same values: artisanal work, care for people, attention to detail, and the desire to celebrate local craftsmanship.
